Nusrat Yar Ahmed - Chief Executive.

Nusrat Yar Ahmad is the founding CEO and has been in the financial services industry for the past 29 years. His experience stretches across International Banking, Corporate Finance, Investments and Treasury. He has worked mostly in the international financial centers of Europe and the Middle East. His professional experience covers the areas of Treasury Management, Equity and Debt Underwriting, Corporate Finance and Private Banking. In 1992 Mr. Ahmad left American Express Bank, Pakistan, where as Director Treasury, he was a member of the Bank's Senior Management Team, and set up InvestCap. The banking industry, regulatory authorities and corporate community consider Mr. Ahmad a highly credible professional. He has a diversified financial services background, with a proven ability to create a strong professional team to develop and grow business. He has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

Rehan Ateeq – Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Rehan Ateeq with 16 years of experience in the financial services industry has professional experience in the areas of Capital Market, Investment Banking and Treasury Management. Before joining InvestCap, Rehan held the position of Head of Treasury at Prime Commercial Bank Limited converting it into the most active treasury of Pakistan’s Financial Market. Rehan is a senior associate member of Financial Services Institute of Australia. In the year 2004, he held the position of a Treasurer of Financial Market Association of Pakistan (FMA). He also has membership with Global Association of Risk Professional and International Hedge Fund Association.

Javed Ahmedjee - Chief Operating Officer

Javed Ahmedjee is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has more than 13 years post qualification experience of working at senior management positions in financial Institutions and manufacturing industries. His last assignment was as a Financial Controller at GlaxoSmithKline, Pakistan, responsible for Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. He was also a member of the management committee representing Finance. He actively participated in implementing JD Edwards in Nigeria and achieving highest audit rating in Pakistan, Egypt and Gulf Near East. Previously he served InvestCap for over 2 years responsible for Finance and Operations and took part in setting up of equity brokerage house alongwith Research. He had also worked with Citibank Pakistan, where he served as Finance Unit Head responsible for taxation and the subsidiaries.

Ather Medina – Head of Research & Business Development

Ather H. Medina, the Head of Research & Business Development, is an MBA with Major in Banking and Finance, from the Institute of Business Administration , Karachi and a graduate in Computer Science from the FAST Institute of Computer Science, University of Karachi . He has extensive experience of the financial markets in general, and asset management and equity research in particular, having worked as the Chief Investment Officer at Atlas Asset Management Ltd., as Head of Research at the National Investment (Unit) Trust, and as an Investment Analyst at two leading foreign brokerage houses, Indosuez W. I. Carr Securities, and SocGen Crosby.

Naeem -ul- Hasan - Director Treasury

Mr. Hasan has over 17 years of experience in commercial banking, investment, and treasury management. He has specific expertise in handling money-market and bond transactions, structured finance solutions, and balance-sheet management products for NBFI's. He has worked at Allied Bank of Pakistan and First International Investment Bank. His treasury experience has made him a respected professional in the inter-bank dealer fraternity in Pakistan. He has attended various conferences and workshops on interest rates, treasury products and derivatives.

Shahrukh Naqvi – Head of Equity Sales

He has been associated with Capital Markets since 1999. Prior to joining the Invest Cap, he has affiliated with the leading corporate brokerage houses in Pakistan , such as Taurus Securities, Orix Investment Bank Limited, etc. Mr. Naqvi enjoys a quotable reputation among the Fund Managers of renowned Financial Institutions regarding advises on portfolio management. His professional experience covers the expertise of Fundamental and Technical analysis. He has attended various seminars and workshops regarding capital markets and equities. Mr. Shahrukh Naqvi is MBA by qualification.

Shabbir Sikander - Director Finance & Risk Management Group

Shabbir has been associated with the capital markets since 1995. Other than being involved in the core activities of finance, he also manages the risk portfolio and serves as a liaison officer, with financial sectors for fund management and compliance with the regularity requirements. He has done his articles from KPMG Taseer Hadi Khalid & Co and been associated with the profession for since 1990.

Tariq Mehmood – Regional Manager North

Tariq heads the Northern Area operations with retail clientele as the core business. Managing client base, both discretionary as well as non-discretionary, this entails full supervision of risk management, sales team, settlement procedures and other branch office requirements. He holds MBA with major in MIS from IBA and B.Sc. Electrical Engineering NWFP University of Engineering and Technology. He is a visiting lecturer in number of universities.

Yasir Ashfaq – Head of Islamabad Operations

Yasir's experience in the financial service industry spans over 8 years. He has served The Bank of Khyber in Finance, Capital Market and Treasury Management. He was Head of Treasury of the bank. During his period as Chief Dealer, the bank earned record profits. As manager operations of Treasury he was instrumental in preparing Treasury Manual, Risk management and Investment Policies of the Bank. Yasir is an Associate Member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan and holds a Masters degree in economics from University of Sydney, Australia.
